Importance of Parental Involvement with Students Essay -- parent-teach

In schools today, there is a growing need for inexpugnable home-to-school connections. Students ar faced with ever-increasing decisions and they need a strong support body to fall back on, which would be their parents. Geert Driessen (2005) stated that agnatic interlocking is world seen as an important strategy for reaching the best quality of education that is possible in schools. He also stated that the main clinical for instructors should be to expand the social and cognitive capacities of the students. With expanding the social and cognitive capacities of the students the teachers are able to incorporate into their lessons about learning about life lessons and what the children provide need to learn to survive in today?s world. With parental involvement the parents are able to continue the education at opportunities that teachers whitethorn never have with the students. Alyssa Gonzalez-DeHass (2005) went to state that there is a huge benefit from the relationship between parental involvement and the many motivational constructs, which entangle school engagement, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, perceived competence, perceived control, self-regulation, mastery inclination orientation, and the motivation to read. When parents set a good role model for their children they are more likely to achieve the motivational constructs that are listed above. As educators in the 21st century, it is very easy to look at the state of schools in the present and to compare then with schools from twenty years ago.
